BooDoo
Changelog

26 October – 1 November 2026

  1. New

Apps can now include built-in AI, paid from your credits

Apps BooDoo builds for you can now use AI features running on our own platform, instead of needing a separate AI account. Any use of this AI inside your app is paid from your own BooDoo credits.

  2. Improved

Your app's look is now judged by its phone screen first

When BooDoo checks how your app looks, it now looks at your phone screen first and asks whether that first screen is the real app, not just a banner above it. The laptop view is checked afterwards, so your app's design better matches what you asked for.

  3. Fixed

Phone app home screen title and new-app box are clearer

The heading above your morning greeting no longer shows a squeezed, cut-off word. Once you have an app, the box on your phone app's home screen now clearly says 'New app', so it is obvious it starts another one.

  4. Fixed

Apps asked for in English are now built in English

A gap in our checks meant some English requests were treated as if no language had been set, so your app could end up with odd notes about a country deciding its language. English requests now get their own clear language setting every time.

  1. Improved

Real customers for your app now unlock with any purchase

Your free app stays a complete, working prototype that you can put online at no cost. To let real customers save their own information, sign in, or send orders through to you, you now need to make any purchase, either a one-time month of a plan or a credit pack.

7 other changes — 2 to how apps are built, 1 to our own checks, 1 to the machines it runs on, 3 elsewhere. Nothing you would see.
