Deleting your account

Last updated 29 July 2026.

You can delete your BooDoo account yourself, at any time, without asking anyone. It is permanent — there is no undo and no grace period — so this page says exactly what happens before you do it.

In the app, on your phone

  1. Open BooDoo and go to the account tab.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm it. If you signed up with an email address and password, you will be asked for that password. If you signed in with Google, there is no password to give — you type the confirmation word the dialog shows you instead.

On the web

  1. Sign in at boodoo.ai.
  2. Open Account → Security.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
  4. Confirm it. If you signed up with an email address and password, you will be asked for that password. If you signed in with Google, or you sign in with an emailed code, there is no password to give — you type the confirmation word the form shows you instead.

Deleting one app, and keeping your account

You do not have to close your account to remove what is in it. Any app can be deleted on its own: open it, put it away first, then choose Delete forever. That removes the app, its code, its version history, its database and its web address — everything you typed to build it goes with it. Your account, your other apps and your remaining credits are untouched.

Putting an app away is not deletion and undoes cleanly; deletion is permanent and has no undo. If you would rather we did it, or you cannot get to the app yourself, write to hello@boodoo.ai from the address on your account and say which app you mean.

You will be asked to deal with your apps first

If you still have apps, deletion is refused until you delete them or hand them to someone else. That is deliberate: your published apps are live websites that other people may be using, and closing an account should never take a working business offline by accident. Put away or delete each app from its settings, then come back to the account screen.

What gets deleted

What we have to keep

Invoices and payment records only. Indian tax law requires CodeNicely Software Services LLP to retain them for eight years, so they survive deletion. They contain the billing name, address and amounts already printed on the invoice, and nothing you built. Security and abuse logs may persist for up to twelve months in backups before ageing out. Nothing else is kept.

If you cannot get in

Lost the phone, forgotten the password, or the account is on an email you no longer read? Write to privacy@boodoo.ai from any address and tell us which account to delete. We will verify that it is yours before we do anything — that check protects you, not us — and then complete the deletion within 30 days.

You can also ask us for a copy of your data before it goes. See the privacy policy for the full list of rights, or write to hello@boodoo.ai if you would rather just talk to someone.
