Families pay for their own
The school gives the period and the teacher. Parents buy the building plan.
Who this suits. A branch that wants to start now and cannot get a new budget line approved this year.

How it runs
The school provides the period, the teacher and the room. Each family buys a plan for their own child on the ordinary consumer terms, the same as anyone else.
There is no purchase order, no procurement and no invoice to the school. It can begin the week you decide.
The student keeps their account when the term ends, so anyone who caught the bug carries on over the holidays instead of stopping dead.
What each side puts in
The school provides
- The period, the teacher and the room
- A letter to parents explaining what it is and what it costs
- A decision about the families who cannot pay
The school gets
- The fastest possible start — no budget approval at all
- No commitment beyond the term
- A clear signal of how much parents value it, which is useful to know
The students get
- An account that is theirs and does not end with the term
- Whatever they want to build over the holidays
- No queue for a share of a class budget
How it is paid for
Each family, directly, on the same plans anyone else buys. The school never handles the money and never carries the risk of collecting it.
There is no price on this page, and that is on purpose. What this costs to run depends on how it is taught — short exercises shared between a few students cost a fraction of what long solo projects cost — and we would rather measure that in your school than quote a number we cannot stand behind. Whatever follows a pilot is agreed in writing before the pilot begins.
The catch
A paid tool that the lesson requires is a fairness problem, and it will be raised with you before we raise it. If a class needs it, the school should be ready to quietly cover the families who cannot — which makes it a budget line again, just a much smaller one. It is also the model most likely to empty out between terms.
Every model on the main page carries one of these, and the same page lists what we have not built yet. Everything we have not finished across the whole product is on our trust page.
Start with one class, one term, free.
Whichever model you end up running, the first step is the same: one branch, one teacher, one term, at no cost.
