BooDoo and Emergent
Where the two differ, and where they do not. Everything said about Emergent below comes from Emergent's own pages, with the date we read them.
Who pays when the AI gets it wrong?
BooDoo
We do. If our own checks reject what we made, fixing it is free — it does not come off your balance and it does not count against your monthly limit.
- Emergent
- Credit-based, spent as the agents work. source, 31 Jul 2026
Can you put a real Android app in the Play Store?
BooDoo
Yes, under your own Google Play account, which stays yours. Google charges $25 once to open one and we add nothing to that.
- Emergent
- States support for mobile apps. source, 31 Jul 2026
Can you pay in rupees, by UPI, with a GST invoice?
BooDoo
Yes. Prices are set in rupees, UPI works, and a GST invoice is issued for every purchase and kept on your account.
- Emergent
- Prices published in US dollars. source, 31 Jul 2026
Can you put it on a web address you own, without paying?
BooDoo
Yes — one of your own addresses on the free plan, and as many as you like on any paid plan.
- Emergent
- Hosting is described as included. source, 31 Jul 2026
Where Emergent may suit you better
A comparison written by one of the two companies in it is worth reading only if it is willing to lose.
- We are not the cheapest. If price is the deciding factor, the others start lower and we would rather you knew that here than found it out later.
- There is no iPhone version yet. The phone app we build for you is an Android app.
- This is early software with no uptime guarantee. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose.
- If you want to write the code yourself, this is the wrong shape of tool — it is built for people who would rather describe the thing than build it.
Everything we have not finished is listed on our trust page, and the rest of the field is on the full comparison.
Free credit to start, no card.
Describe the app your business needs and judge it against whatever else you are trying.
